Right-wing delusion
I decided to check out my old right-wing buddies on talk radio yesterday. I was bored and I figured it would be good for a laugh or two. And it was, sort of.
Rush Limbaugh was in the middle of a rant on Obama’s new web site, Change.gov. He had found, supposedly, evidence that Obama was planning on a comprehensive nuclear disarmament policy and Rush was mortified. Evidently working for peace is never good and will place our neck in a guillotine or some such. I guess this goes along with the whole ‘Obama loves terrorists’ theme that Sean Hannity was still ranting about. Ayers, still. The right really just does not understand that Bush has had seven years, still hasn’t found bin Laden, has managed to dismantle a dictatorship while completely botching the reconstruction and bog our military down in the desert, has caused relations with Russia to re-freeze, and somehow think this puts the U.S. in a position of power and respect.
There is a reason people all over the world celebrated Obama’s election. Think about it.
