Mental Blocks, etc.
I don’t know why I always get such mental blocks about blogging. I started out years ago writing random thoughts, then I progressed to political rants, and then I got stuck in a cycle. I wanted to make money, but I had to have content up to justify ads, etc. So I would get the framework set up, ads in place, feeds, etc. and then never do the content part. And I wouldn’t write content because I was stuck trying to figure out how to monetize with a particular niche market.
In the meantime my blogs gather dust. It’s pathetic.
So fuck it, I’m going to just blog, like they used to do back in the old days. Maybe if I get thirty days up in a row I can worry about affiliate marketing and monetization. Until then, I’m just going to write.
